hi ed try pdsa im not sure if you have to be on benefits if not then they will treat your pet and you give them a donation.

{Ed007's Note - Cheers, Ray, I've been trying to get through to them for 2 and a half hours.}

ED007 have you tried the PDSA (people's dispensary for sick animals) which is a registered charity and I am certain do not charge big fees, if any, just a donation.
There are two PDSA in East End of Glasgow, so not that far from Hamilton
PDSA animal hospital, Muirfield drive, Glasgow 0141 763 0800
PDSA Shamrock St, Glasgow, G4 9JZ, 0141 332 6944

Hope this helps, they should at very least be able to give you more information on any vets in your own Hamilton area.
Hope Yoda is not to ill.

{Ed007's Note - Thanks, Tim. He's not pooed since Friday morning and he was at the vet's yesterday (£85 the robbing 🤬, one wanted £148 just to see him!) who said he has a blockage and they gave him a laxative but said if that doesn't work it'll cost £450 to give him an enema. I should have stuck in at school and became a vet, the money they make 😮

How'd u get on with the pdsa ed? If u can't get through on the phone I would just take him in with a letter from the dla or any benefit your on mate.

{Ed007's Note - I never got through to them mate. We took him back to the vet we were at yesterday and they gave him a mini-enema but if that doesn't work he's to go in for the procedure tomorrow morning - my mum & sis have tapped me the money. I'll keep trying to get in touch with the PDSA to register him though or look into insurance as he's 8 this year and getting on.}
