Ed do you think that there's any chance of Wanyama coming in on loan or wI'll spurs be looking to punt him? No doubt the financial outlay would be huge compared to our top earners. Also how many years has Edouard got left on his contract?

{Ed007's Note - Spurs will be looking to sell him on but permanent deals can be difficult in January so a if a loan route is open I do think we'll be interested.
Edouard's contract runs until 2022.}

Think we should just buy him, instead of getting loan deal, if Brugge we’re willing pay 12 it will be half way fru season maybe 10 would be a fair deal? How long has he left on his contract at Spurs. He’s 28 if we get at least 4 good seasons out of him will be well worth the money. With brown getting a good age Wanyama could easy have the legs to play the brown roll when he retires.

Cheers. Here's hoping. I was looking at the countries using VAR. Apart from the big pub leagues there's Turkey Poland Morocco Romania Portugal Australia Thailand Belgium Switzerland. Why do our authorities not want it? Is it to do with the cost of it or are they scared to use it and make the game fair! I think it would make our league even more corrupt😂You would need whoever monitors the VAR and then have somebody watching them then someone watching them etc. A 90 minute celtic trifc game would end up taking a few hours stopping play to watch Morelos es antics😂.

{Ed007's Note - I'm not a fan of VAR because it always still comes down to individual interpretation of the incident and it overrules one of the basic rules of football - that the ref's decision is final - but won't cost much to implement, all you need is a video monitor and a few extra cameras around the pitch. As things stand the VAR would be using the 2 camera system you see on Sportscene.
We will bring it in eventually but it'll be a couple of years yet at least I reckon with the officials needing to go through a year's training in using it and I've not heard of any plans for that.}

I hope VAR never comes to Scotland. It does mean refs decision isn't final, but the worst thing is this not being able to celebrate a goal until a review has taken place, absolutely kills it.

IrishBhoy we can't afford Wanyama. His wage alone will be out of our reach. Best we can hope for is a loan until the end of the season.
