My one performance I was disappointed with last night was boyata. For me he would be on the bench the rest of the season with simo and ajer first choice. Need to build a partnership for next season and boyata is no better than either of them for me. But Last night show we can compete in Europe and with a few defensive reinforcements in the summer and we can progress.

Thought boyata was excellent as was the whole back line, couple of times concentrating between the back 3 happened early on with misplaced passes but apart from that they were very strong under pressure.

Boyata was awful first half and rock solid second half. Jozo and Ajer was rocks too. Brown and Bain also.

All the nonsense aside I think we need better than Boyata. He done ok second half but really he's not that great a defender.

We can do better. We need 2 quality CBs and Ajer should learn from them.
