I like everyone else that is a true hoop am totally gutted with how we have started this campaign. Who is to blame, without doubt board not backing manager, BR maybe bringing this on himself for poor signings but surely without question the players on the park picking up £££ and not giving us that back in effort, commitment, pride. We are Celtic, they should be bursting a gut and any 11 we start should be wiping the floor with opposition. MAN UP time?

{Ed007's Note - The players must shoulder some responsibility imo, no matter what's going on behind the scenes they should be doing a hell of a lot more on the park. It's all well and good blaming Lawwell, Rodgers or Congerton but when push comes to shove where's guys like Brown, KT, Lustig etc pulling the players together?
I'm not singling them out but we need players like that to sort it out on the park.}

The distractions and events behind the scenes will always affect moral and the carry-on with Boyata and damaging departure of Dembele must have caused disruption in the dressing room - especially when the manager seemed to be undermined by his board?
However, you are spot-on Ed, where the 'bottom line' blame lies.
Senior players who have been over the course - some with several managers - are shirking responsibility and failing this challenge.
We saw it with Deila when senior players were more than happy to tread water and let the manager take the flak and it can't be allowed to happen again.
They are happy to ride along on the crest of a wave of success, but when grit, graft, guts and guile are needed right now, we are getting half-hearted performances, fear and finger pointing.

Kris Boyd reckons our dressing room is split and we all know that is exactly what the bias bigot wants . After Boyd has been wrong about Celtic at least half a dozen times since season started, I am sure he hopes he will be right once sooner or later . It maybe up to manager and board to prove him wrong again.
