Just as suspected, VAR makes 'honest mistakes' as well.
Sweden should have had a certain penalty, but the three wise monkeys looking at VAR favour Germany?
This farcical technology will cause riots if it's enforced all over.

{Ed007's Note - If the VAR is holding refs to account then who's holding VAR to account for their decisions? Over in Germany the VAR chief Hellmut Krug was sacked over match fixing allegations and it opens up a whole new avenue to the people who try and fix matches.}

Maybe they should implement a system, your allowed 3 looks at VAR per team. Ref makes the final decision, but the team decides wether he looks. 3 looks per team. So that there’s less controversy between decisions etc? Obviously the rules would have to be put into writing.

How did we ever make it without var honestly it's still a ref making the decision pointless if I ask me waste of money.

It's crap and it's ruining football.
Football before VAR was all about winning some, losing some decisions.
It's crap.

Well said Rab. It's shite.

{Ed007's Note - Eloquently put buddy and very true (yes) I wonder if all the idiot pundits on TV bigging it up have thought about their long term jobs, if there's no contentious decisions what are they going to talk about, mistakes VAR makes?
Have the rules of the game now changed so that the referee's decision isn't final?}

I agree with above. VAR should be limited to 3-4 times, called by the Managers like lives similar to Tennis. Refs do the job as thy have since Football started othetwise.
