Just watched the Brazil game. This has got to be the worst World Cup I've seen. I hope it's going to get better. We need the better teams to stop england in their tracks asap.

{Ed007's Note - Behave yourself, England beat Tunisia with an injury time goal. Anyone that thinks England have any chance of winning the World Cup is either English or a raving lunatic.}

Spot on Ed. The usual hype has kicked in. England are terrible.

{Ed007's Note - No team has really stood out in any games I've seen - Spain v Portugal was a cracker though - but England look as average as some of the smaller nations.}

ill be honest guys. Gamboa had Neymar in his pocket for much of that game. Maybe we need to give him a chance.

Croatia and Belgium look the picks for me.

{Ed007's Note - I was expecting more from Belgium. I thought they really struggled to get going, especially in the first half, but it was their first game.}

Few teams need a push, I don't like international football. Will be surprised to see one of the favourites win it.

{Ed007's Note - I'm not a big fan of it either and there's been plenty of games I haven't watched and from what I've heard I haven't missed much.}

Said before many times, I don't like International football and so far this WC has done very little to change my opinion.
There have only been about three or four games worthy of the event, with too many jaded and below average performances from players who are arguably the very best in their country at their position.
I have actually fallen asleep during two games and don't get me started on this VAR - which, when/ if it becomes mandatory, will create merry hell, especially in Scotland.

Croatia for me. They will go a long way.

Ed, Haven’t watched a single game but if the Brexiteers win the World Cup I’ll run around Parkhead naked then immigrate to lovely Derry on the banks of the Foyle where nobody would give a feck anyway. If Celtic isn’t playing and to a lesser extent if Scotland aren’t in the World Cup am no interested although the little Englanders winning it is enough as pit me aff my next pint a Guinness and curry! ☘️.

{Ed007's Note - I was getting withdrawal symptoms from football mate and it's better than nothing or daft youth tournaments. I'm pretty sure the eyes of Parkhead will be safe from seeing you in the buff!}

VAR is great. Mostly right decisions. Cuts out hun refs doing their team a favour. Or, honest mistakes as it’s known. I would love it. We would lose a few but win a lot more. All supporters, who basically feel the refs are against them, including the gers get it sorted. Bring it on. Our problem is the league is so poor financially, that it’s s non starter, finals though and games against the gers. That would be a start.

{Ed007's Note - It would still the same people making the decisions and covering for each other's mistakes so nothing would change and it would be a disaster in Scotland like it is in Germany. The whole thing will eventually become a pain in the ar$e, people will get sick of it like the Germans and it'll hopefully get dumped.}

Argentina will win it.

I have watched most games but seen very little football. Fair enough some good goals today .
The Var would be a complete disaster if it was introduced into SPFL, we don't trust the Officals we have now, people operating Var would do so in a way that only hair-line decisions given towards us would be reviewed .

English or a raving lunatic? Is that not the same thing.
