What are your opinions on Ramos' tackle on Salah last night?

I thought their arms got tangled but then Ramos trapped his arm so he couldn't pull it away. He then gave him a small tug so they both went down and while falling, he twisted his body to make sure Salah's arm was under him when they landed.

It was very dangerous and could have easily snapped Salah's arm, was worthy of a red card in my opinion as it used excessive force.

Classic defending knew what he was doing by taking out Liverpools main threat.

Got to put it down to big game experience I think mate.

Totally agree, he knew what he was doing and ‘done him’
I know he is a hot head but a simply fabulous defender.

Don’t think he was trying to injure him. Its a physical game and when they both went down someone was likely to get a sore one. Looks bad in slow mo but in real time it happened in a split second so I doubt Ramos had time to think “I’m going to do him here”

Thought Ramos was the best player on the park by a mile. So much so he’s concvinced me to put some cash on Spain this summer.

Never a red card just very good defending, something our own defenders should learn.

There's a picture that appears to show Salah grabbing a hold of Ramos' arm first and then the injury was to the opposite shoulder from the way he landed. He definitely wanted to leave one on him though, no question.

I am not a fan of Ramos, he's a big dirty b*****d that gets away with murder but that wasn't even a foul last night. He won the ball and then they got tangled. Salah was pulling as much as Ramos. The way they fell was just bad luck for salah.

He knew what he was doing! It was deliberate.

I agree with Kev
Never liked Ramos although no question about it he is a winner. However I can’t take to him, a big dirty so and so.

He’s a wonderful defender of that there’s no doubt but he knows every underhand trick in the book. The second I watched it I thought it was deliberate and iv watched it a few times since and am still of the opinion it was ment.

Ramos certainly committed a red card offence against Salah last night . Can you imagine the outcry that would have arisen if S Brown had tangled in such a way .
Ramos has history of committing red inducing fouls . The ref was too cowardly to card a Real Madrid player so early in the game .

I was delighted with the result even though I used to have a soft spot for L'pool, my two sons in law redicule Scottish football and call it a pub league, so they will have plenty to look forward to next time we meet up.

Fabulous defending you must be kidding right? He is committed I will give you that but he is and always will be a thug imo. He is an assassin and he took out Mo Salah and with it Liverpool's chance of winning.

Its not that he pulled Mo Salah's arm its that he deliberately held onto it and trapped his wrist and then as the above describes landed on top of it and then pulled his arm. It was one of the worst I have seen and I was surprised Salah got up and carried on after it for a few minutes.

It was simply disgusting, it reminded me of the tackle on Larsson which to this day I still believe was deliberate by the french assassin. goes unpunished as experienced defenders just make it look accidental.

big hartson at his peak would have knocked ramos about for 90 minutes.

No chance, everytime big bad John would have neared him, Ramos would have rolled around in agony and roaring in agony . Hartson would have to stay away or he would have been off before half time.
