Ed007 do you think the quality of manager in spfl has started to creep up since Brendan rogers has came in.
In recent years there would have been no way teams like killie could have clout Clarke or Ross county coyle.
With lack of job opportunities for British managers in England and someone as big as Roger willing to come has it opened the door to Scottish clubs?

{Ed007's Note - I've never really thought about it, Kev but having Rodgers here certainly raises the profile of the league. Maybe guys like Clarke and Coyle are pissed off with the way the English game is just now where it looks like managers are judged every 6 weeks and are constantly 1 or 2 defeats away from the sack.}

Ye that's another spot on reason tae ed.
It was reading some of the names being linked with the mobs job that got me thinking about it. ( I know)
But guys like McLaren and that would never have came up here till recently but I think they would now.

Good point I was wondering the same thing actually, with McInnes staying with the dons during the summer, rejecting Sunderland. Maybe it's because clubs here in general are better run these days and so a more attractive prospect.
