Lack of transfer activity - Now that we appear to have done enough to get into the CL Group stages I am beginning to get a more concerned about losing players rather than getting new ones in. How many of those clubs with big money are now wanting to strengthen and, as the deadline approaches, are looking at our players?

The biggest saga was always going to be Dembele but surely now he wouldn't pass a medical. Armstrong will put pen to paper. Hopefully we can offload guys like Ciftci and Henderson and I'd probably still send Benyu on loan to keep him playing most weeks as it won't happen here. Paddy Roberts and maybe 1 or 2 wee surprises.

Give it a break mate honestly, we've not even played the second leg yet. With regards to players leaving I don't think we will lose anyone of significance.

BR stated he is looking to get at least 2 more in. He also mentioned we have a few different targets.

West Ham have apparently put a bid on the table for dembele. We need to keep our best players if we are ever going to become a club that can challenge in Europe again. With champions league practically secured i would want to see a new CB and a RW. There's not really another area we need to strengthen at this current time in my opinion.

KenLikeEh I'm hoping that BR's public stance of not needing another CB is just to boost the players because I think we need another CB of quality as Erik and Boyata aren't quite at that level for me.

I'm in the same frame of mind with the CB situation Kevbhoy. Simunovic is a very big talent, some of the situations he deals with is insane. Seems to always be his partner that gets caught out so he really needs a partner of his quality. Coetzee was being quoted but I've read up on him and the Ajax Cape Town fans are saying he will need to bulk up to deal with the Scottish game. I'm sure this could be arranged as his distribution from the back is meant to be very very good. Definitely a Rodgers type player it seems.
