Firstly, I've never seen so much jubilation at being knocked out of a title race, shows a real small team mentality. In Celtic terms, it shows that we aren't quite the finished article yet and unfortunately too many players had an off day at the same time coupled with them playing out of their skin. Hopefully the blip is out of their system now and we charge on to the treble and further strengthen the squad in the summer. HH.

Any different from your mob's jubilation when you were knocked out the CL? A lot of hypocrites on here.

Knocked out the Champions League by Barcelona and Manchester City. Humped by Inverness Dundee etc? Know your place diddy.

I've taken quite a bit of satisfaction from their celebrations kev. Like I said yesterday, it just emphasises their small team mentality coming to CP and getting a draw.

The polar reactions sums up the reality of how things stand in Scottish football. Celtic fans are angry and disappointed at dropping our first league points (and failing to win) since the 18th Sept! While Sevco fans are celebrating a draw as if it was a lottery win.
There was complacency and over-confidence by too many going into the game from many supporters, players and ex-players in the Celtic camp, while the underdogs went about their game and took advantage of the home teams slackness and under performers - with a little help from their friend madden.
It's the kick in the arse a few of them needed but it does very, very little to alter the course of a monumental season.

How can u celebrate dropping 2 points and more or less losing 2nd place doesn't make sense and the spfl and the cl are slightly different are they not.

@lwdawson, we celebrated the first draw against Man City as it gave us a very unexpected point and could have been vital to us staying in Europe after Christmas. It didn't pan out that way but we were still very much in with a shout at the time, that's the difference.

Guys

Why are we even bothering replying to that 🤡?

Let him crawl back under his rock with no bites.

Amazing that they come on here to gloat over a draw though. What a joke of a club they are.

Hilarious hearing all the jubilant sevco fans, title 55 in their 5 year existence is gone but it's okay as they put the timmies in their place, oh wait it was a 1-1 draw and they should have had a man sent off and a stonewall penalty given against them.

Never a penalty according to ebt mccann as hill has got to be able to wrap his legs round to get the ball despite their view that against accies the slightest touch on toral was a stonewall penalty.

Brendan clearly rattled him with his st mirren being the best team we've played, daft sevconian can't hide his bitterness and the un-mighty sevco were worthy drawers. not one mention of going for 55 in 5 years more than a few mentions about pep warbiola and yet this was the future England manager they are now claiming is a dud.

sevco don't do irony they don't do the truth either nor winning but they're easily pleased and led. Here we go 10 in a row.

They've lost more ground on Aberdeen.

If you don't celebrate an 88 minute equaliser in football then it's true what they say, Celtic fans live to hate rangers not love their club.

@kevbhoy - small team mentality is getting continually humped in the CL but just glad you are there for the money. In that respect Celtic are like the 88 year old prostitute - still getting a wee fumble but getting handsomely rewarded for minimum effort!

Exactly. Its amazing that these Sevconites are jumping up and down with a draw that should have been a loss, if that Madden had done his job and not favour his boyhood heroes. A very poor 3rd in the league with Hearts and St Johnstone chasing them down, no money, in debt and with a Manager who is average at best. Yeh real reason to be joyous LOL.

Look celebrating an 88min equaliser is fine but throwing strips in tbe crowd and punters dancing and singing in pubs like they've won the league a bit much uj.
