We all knew what to expect from Madden and although he did influence the game and let a few tackles go unpunished - we still have enough about us to beat any domestic opponent at home with a full strength team.
Pre match comments and boasts were always going to add fuel to the fixture and when most of the team under-perform on the day - then we make things difficult.
Tierney, Brown, Gordon and Armstrong were about the only Celtic players on form -although Dembele did put a power of work in without the goals we expect from him.
Sinclair had his worst game of the season and should have been replaced, while Forrest failed to run at them with any conviction or intent and although he set up the goal - was replaced by PR who made little impact as the withdrawal of Armstrong seemed to hand them a lifeline.
At the end of the day we are disappointed - but still undefeated and can't play much worse, while they drew with 12 men and reacted like they won the lottery.
Not a lot learned today but a wee kick up the arse for a few that needed it.
Six points and two trophies still to go while they celebrate their point - take their eye off the baw and finish fifth.

What work did dembele do mate? He never looked interesting today. Constantly waiting on the ball coming to his feet and not once did he challenge in the air. Just hope we are more up for it in the semi now.

Nah, too many not playing today.
On the positive side, another point and THEY never got to claim our undefeated record so that's good.
Gordon put in a good shift which I was pleased to see and we had at least one stonewall penalty turned down. Overall, not our best performance by a long chalk but that's it done and I hope the players take note for the semi final coming up.

that's it in a nutshell

we didn't do enough to win the game (leaving aside all the ifs)

we can't be angry, maybe a little upset but they gave everything and we looked as tho we were just training.

Thought dembele was poor by his standards and didn't do enough.

Gordon and Armstrong the only players that get passmarks for me and Grif tried hard when he came on. Didn't understand Broonies man of the match award and I'm a Broonie fan and KT had his worst game of the season and Sinclair was anonymous.

@passingtime - after his lack of effort and goals is Moussa now valued at £38 million or does the Dembele Calculator only have a plus button?

Dembelle was awful. Absolutely awful. Sinclair pulled his invisible man routine. Button the back passing master giving the ball to Boyata and schevchenko, who is getting worse every game, just added to the demands upon my Valium drip.

If we go into the CL with they two at the back we can look forward to many tankings. Simo needs a partner in the summer, Mcgreggor, Button, Gary Mackay Sitter can join them out the door too.

Hopefully this shambolic performance will remind them the treble is still to be won. And if they play like that in April it won't happen at all.

Totally gutted at that today. I hope the players feel a tenth as bad and maybe ensure they make amends at hampden.
