Cludio Raneri sacked by Leicester. Guaranteed Brendon on the short list of people they would like to talk to. Look at what he has done with us. Taken an under performing side and injected a new lease of life. Hope he stays.

First of all an absolute disgrace this man has been sacked, he took a wee team made them EPL CHAMPIONS.
He rewarded those players with new big contracts and the "johnny big times" pocketed the cash and then downed tools, shame on the whole Leicester team.
But now to the fun part of this as the deluded ones down Ibrox think Ranieri is coming to manage them.

Johnnymac, I doubt Brendan would be interested in the Leicester job. I think when he does leave us it will be to one of the bigger clubs either in England or in Europe.
In my view, Leicester are at their level, last season was a freak, they are a team who will generally be hovering around the relegation zone, I think Rodgers would be looking for a club towards the other end of the table.

why would he join a smaller club?

I think the best thing Leicester City should have done is move CR to a position upstairs and let the new manager come in, instead of sacking the guy.

That's football these days. Zero loyalties. They Leicester players owed that man big time, they all now have medals they'd never have got without him. He kept them grounded when they would more than likely have got too big for their boots and blew the title. 90% of them will fade to nothing shortly, they definitely won't get their big moves now.

Sure enough the deluded zombies think they're in with a shout of getting him to the crumble dome. Winning the Epl with Leicester would seem like a stroll in the park compared to trying to overhaul Celtic next season with that mob.

Agree with everything said bhoys.

Hypotheticaly even if they were relegated CR deserved the chance to bring them back up.
Having said that it's the epl bunch of money grabbing back stabbing tw**s.

It's a shame Leicester didn't sell Vardy and Mahrez in the summer when their value was at its highest. They could have rebuilt their squad with the money. I don't watch Leicester or the EPL enough to know if these players downed tools after signing lucrative contracts but it certainly looks like they have let CR down.

As for Rodgers, Honestly don't think he would leave Celtic for a top 6 Club in England at the moment never mind a bottom 6 one.

Why would any manager with a club go to Leicester when they sack a manager who is still reigning champion in the supposed best league in the world. A team that is always favourite for relegation and winning the EPL and getting sacked, absolutely shocking, and hope they free fall many divisions, major delusions of grandeur.

Sad to see Ranieri getting sacked. I can understand why but sad all the same considering what he has achieved with Leicester. H.

surely if the guy had the skill to win the league with a provincial club then surely he's got the skills to stave off relegation.
