Bhoys serious heads on now. We are Celtic FC. I have seen the request from Warsaw to allow them to go I to the next round. We can, as Peter Lewwell will do, ignore the request. But we are wrong to do so. We are Celtic FC. If we hide our heads in the sand, we tell Peter Lawwell that what he does regarding signing inferior suers and taking our money is OK. We tell him that it's all right to be "Sevco like". No we are Celtic. That is not what we do. We were beaten fair and square. Unless we stand up to this font ever talk about the teams that kicked us off the park and won. Don't tell me about hoe Sevco won 9 in a row by buying the league. Don't tell me about how we were persecuted by the old SFA and Rangers got all the support from the establishment. If we want to blow 126 years of tradition, honesty and fair play for a shot at a 4th round opportunity to get into the CL then we have all got it wrong. We are Celtic we sre not Sevco sometimes that means doing the right thing.Hail Hail.

{Ed007's Note - Sorry but that's just complete garbage - it's got nothing to do with CFC, it's down to UEFA so take it up with them.}

Johnnymac i'm going out tonight. You got any of the marching powder you are on?

Johhnnymac
You must have Polish friends . If by any means UEFA 's ruling could be overturned or set aside, then the entire integrity of UEFA would be permanently destroyed .

3.) 10 Aug 2014
Sorry johnny but we are "poles apart" on this one, next round is worth 1.8 mill reason enough for me

4.) 10 Aug 2014
Sorry Johnny but that's utter rubbish.

Other than the fact we have nothing to apologize or be sorry for, this is the Elite competition in Club football - there is no way this could be allowed to happen; even on the moral cloud upon which you think we live.

Think about it, what's next? A team is eliminated by an offside goal or a poor refereeing decision - so they challenge the team on the other end of it to a rematch.

It would after all, be morally right - but it's never going to happen.

I had sympathy for Legia at the start but calling Celtic out like this has annoyed me.

Facts are they made a mistake, a UEFA delegate spotted the issue. UEFA ruled on it and we profited.

Can't see much wrong with this and don't think Legia would have given up the slice of luck if the boot was on the other foot.

Ed007 you have missed the point. I am not saying it's Celtics fault, I agree it is a UEFA decision. Read the post. Do you really think we will qualify for the group stages anyway? I have been going to Celtic games since 1965. We talk about Rapid Vienna kicking us Off the pitch. 20 years later we are still bleating about it. If we just accept this we are no better than Lawwell just taking the money. Let's grow a pair. We got beat, accept it and move on.

{Ed007's Note - Aye, ok then. So you would be happy to see CFC punished just so you can take the moral highground? We can't moan about teams breaking the rules then ask our own club to also break them.}

7.) 10 Aug 2014
Why bring Celtic in to this? Nothing to do with us and UEFA is not going to change a decision this late on
all saying that I think UEFA have to put a gagging order on them for more or less trying to blame us .
Its like the other side saying it was Greens fault they lost today

Maybe all the other teams that finished
2nd, 3rd, and 4th in their leagues should also grow a pair and decline to take part in the CHAMPIONS league, as non of them are champions. Just a technicality, but I can`t see it happening

Johnnymac, I completely agree with your post. We should be bigger than this and the money involved. Not as though it would be invested back in the team judging by current state of affairs. We should do the RIGHT thing. UEFA might say no but we should do the right thing!

10.) 10 Aug 2014
If we do the right thing as you see it angel then what do you think about st pats having to play against a full squad to pick from rather than being a man short from that squad? I had sympathy for legia but they inadvertently cheated and were punished accordingly to our benefit.

I, like most of us, felt that Legia were hard done by. However, their actions are now disgusting. They broke the rules, the punishment was already laid down from the start. As Ed mentioned previously. Any Celtic Director who suggested that we play them would be in breach of the rules. In addition, who do Legia think they are by trying to override EUFA? I think they will receive further punishment (just my opinion). They are on a damage limitation exercise and bringing our integrity into question. All these persons in the media should shut to **** up and give their backsides a chance, but of course that does not sell their programme or newspapers. We all signed up and knew the rules (their fault if they did not). We qualify because at the end of the day. they broke the rules
