Josh Adams has left celtic to join Manchester City, another academy player away. Is something not right with our academy as we seem to be losing player after player just now?

Seems to be a fair few being poached and it is a worry. Whether it's for financial or career prospect reasons, we need to put a lid on it. With no 'Reserve League' we should either promote to the senior squad or loan-out the best of the bunch to protect the future.

What’s the point of promoting him to the senior squad if Soro and Turnbull to name two can’t get a start what chance has the boy got. I would wager you won’t see him anytime soon playing for Man City.

As I said; it was an either - or choice oldkilly. If they have great potential (and can't get near the squad) then loan out before they're unsettled and get snapped-up. I agree he won't feature for City, but I would think they will loan him out like so many others on the books.

I think it's because there is no devolepment league anymore so the young boys will only be training or playing friendlies when they can.
