So a lot of people think we need an experienced striker maybe on loan. What does you think of Fernando Llorente, who's been made available for loa from Napoli?

Cracking big player who has a big physical presence up front. I was surprised Spurs let him go. He's too big a name to play back up to Edouard though and no doubt his wages are astronomical.

Definitely something different Kev. Big physical striker. Very good in the air. Wouldn’t say no. However if another striker is to come in either Bayo or Griff or even both would have to move on. Or maybe two up top.

Hes playing back up where he is BB and has for last few seasons. Iceman truth be told I think both the griff and bayo are finished at parkhead.

Yeah but in a big league Kev. Would a player of his calibre be willing to play back up in Scotland. Plus why take a loan if he's not guaranteed 1st team football?

Does anybody think that if we bring in another striker in this window it could be that we are going to move on Edouard?

Naw I think it will be because Griffiths and bayo ain't up to scratch at this moment.

BB he would have chance for medals and European football here.
Again he's not guaranteed football anywhere else.

Wages too high even on a loan.

I would definitely take Llorente, would give us a different option up front.
I had a look at the free agents and the best of a pretty bad lot were Wilfred Bony and Diafra Sakho, although they are probably a couple of mercenaries.
One free agent that caught the eye was Fábio Coentrão left back that had a spell with Real Madrid, might bring some experience to that position although would he want to come to Scotland.

Llorente will never be an option for Celtic because of his wages. He is supposedly on 4.5m euro a year which roughly translates to somewhere in the region of £80k a week.
We may as well talk about bringing Messi or Ronaldo in. There's as much chance of it happening. Fanciful idea though, it's a pity it's totally unrealistic. HH.

Would take him in a heartbeat. Where is he now is he still at Spurs?

I wish Bayo could be given more of a chance, the greatest manager we have ever had, was going to put Griffith's out on loan before injuries forced him to give him some games, Bayo might be a real gem if he was given a decent run.

Would loan Bayo and Griffiths to Hearts and Hibs. Both after a striker so they could hopefully take some points off the Rangers in the process as well as getting much needed game time.

give Hibs nothing.
