My fear of having Lennie as head coach still continues with the same problems of players not looking fit enough, rumours of drinking culture and rumours that he grips up players . Obviously they are only rumours, but he did agree to letting the players go to Dublin a few days before the hun game, also he definitely seemed outfoxed by Gerrard in the last two old firm games.
I know we won our home game but we looked lost for the whole of the second half until we scored in the last few minutes. I don’t want an identical manager to Rogers but I did like the professional approach he brought and I think that we should be trying to match that or better it.

Bang on Quinn. The nutritionist we had at the time when RD came in didn't even have the correct figures about players BMIs. RD had to bring his own in for the real numbers. I get that psychology comes into play. But in 2019 if you're going to let players drink and eat chips 'because they want to' do it at another club.

They won’t need to close the road if it’s Moyes because that will be the worst thing that can happen and the board better be ready for the backlash, if he is appointed with the usual Lawwell transfer budget, fails to get us in the CL group stages and loses the league to Sevco then Lawwell will get lynched, we were miles in front and due to lack of investment we have let them close the gap, this is a big summer for us and the board must get the right manager and back him and Moyes is not the right manager .

The thing that will fox Lennon, perhaps unjustly, is that appointing him is literally to go backwards. He hasn't publicly presented any sort of future vision for the team, albeit that it would be presumptuous to do so as a temporary appointee. That vision has to entail improving our fortunes in the most lucrative market that is the Champions League. He has the right record there, actually, but I think its past the statute of limitations.

Could a gritty, no nonsense Celtic side do better in Europe? Its the only way we have ever done so.

I cannot believe this nonsense about B.R. great expertise in getting players super fit and his great knowledge about nutritional knowledge because things just don't add up . First season everything worked out fine but from B.R. second season onwards, our players have looked listless and tired. have particularly this season fallen down injured time and time again . We would have topped the league for injured days out this season.
