I see Chris Davies saying the club are working hard, but can't guarantee any new signings, this is following what I thought would happen, we will get told at end of month "we tried". "couldn't get the right player". "they didn't want to come". it's all so frustrating, I know they think we'll, we won't win the EL, but we will win the league, that's fair enough, I remember the 90's, but it would be nice to show some ambition, and get the fans excited again, feel it's all going a bit flat.

Can see your point but why sign someone just for the sake of it imo we need to get rid of a few more.

That's not what he said at all, he said they want quality and could've brought in lots of players already and had the perceived "good" window for making lots of signings but they want better than what we have.

but that is their job to make sure we find those players and failing to do so is a failure on their part. That's why you have scouting networks lol.

They just seem to deflect blame at all times. The issue is that their budget is simply too low and it doesn't always have to be.

To happy to settle for being best in SPL.

The defense is a shambles? Yes ok they have struggled last few games before the break we have had a good few injuries and yet we are 8 clear and lost one game in 19 months. The lack of creativity is far the bigger problem we need Rogic and Roberts back asap no mystery that the strikers are not scoring like last year it's down to the lack of service.

I fail to see why it should be one or the other, like some have said we need a bit more creativity with the injuries but we definitely need to improve the defence. Yes it’s good enough to win the league but at the minute we are still in Europe, so why not improve for that? I can’t remember a champions league game where we looked comfortable at the back and surely that’s what we should be aiming for .
On another note I read that Chris Davies said we could smash the transfer record this window, is that true . I’ll believe it when I see it, as we have heard this before in other windows only to be let down at the end.

The defence needs to be addressed. I am convinced it will. It has to.

Improve that and we can take Zenit on, if we don't, it will be the red tops creaming themselves on how yet again we bottled it and a lot of Celtic fans will agree.

It needs to be done and it will be done. Trust me, I once had a drink with a doctor.

The defence is a shambles. To deny that is to deny your own eyes. We have KT and Simo who I would have in, we need a right back and at least one CB who is eligible for Europa. I think we need a keeper too, but that looks unlikely. Last night again reinforced the glaring deficiencies and propensity to make unforced errors.

Apart from Griff the urgency to act to improve the defence was one of the few positives from last night. Mcgreggor isn't good enough to take us forward as part of our midfield. He was awful last night but remained on the park. I was heartened by Rogers words about getting players in. It will happen. And not before time.
