See some of the papers are reporting that Everton might come in for Dembelle, that might be a good bit of business all round,30 million plus James McCarthy sounds like good business and a nice pot to source a couple of good signings with. That would be progress which would please the board and keep us plebs dreams of CL and 10 in a row going strong.

Is McCarthy going to take a big drop in wages then?, I would like McCarthy in but I would prefer to keep Dembelle for another year, his value is only going to increase.

Nowhere have I seen £30m + McCarthy quoted. I honestly think £23m + McCarthy + a 10 per cent sell on clause would be amazing biz! Hope I am totally wrong btw. HH!

I wish people would stop going on about McCarthy, for the last year or so he's been consistently injured . I also don't really see him controlling many games in the prem or for Ireland. For the outlay I'd think there is more important areas.

35mill plus mcarthy plus 25 % add on / sell on clause. and they are still getting a bargain . they want him to replace lukaku which means they think he's up to the job . do you think theyd accept 10 mill plus an ok player plus 10% for lukaku. no chance. if he's going to the epl the so called greatest / richest league in the world then its epl transfer money. we don't need to sell. we gave away wanyama. foster . Why the rush to sell Dembelle and why link his sale with the purchase of Mc Carthy . Neither are realistic . I think that Celtic should sell Dembelle when it suits Celtic not the SMSM who would like nothing better than see Celtic sel their top stars too early and at a bad price.
